This fully microprocessor controlled unit, housed within an IP54 enclosure is extremely versatile and is specifically designed to control large and complex networks as typically found in Hospital and Healthcare premises. Atlas Pneumatic Tube System networks may be extremely large. The basic Atlas CMS controller can control up to 5 independent systems, and multiple controllers may be connected together.
Atlas Pneumatic Tube System networks can incorporate every conceivable type of station, including upsend, downsend, through, bench, hopper fed, sliding sleeve, and automatic.
One of the principal components on an Atlas network is the Linear Coupler Carrier Server. This unique device operates as a central holding and distribution system for carriers in transit and its large storage capacity and extremely high throughput rate provides unsurpassed performance.
